Nell Avery Photography LLC is a one-person wedding photography business in Kingston, New York. This page explains what happens to the information you send me.

What I collect

When you send the inquiry form or email me, I keep your names, email address, phone number if you give it, your wedding date and venue, and what you tell me about the day. If you book, I also keep the contract, payment records and the timeline we plan together.

What I use it for

To reply to your inquiry, to plan and photograph your wedding, to deliver your gallery and to keep the accounting records the law requires. I don’t send newsletters and I don’t sell or share your details with anyone for marketing.

Who else sees it

Sam Okafor, if he photographs your wedding. Pic-Time, which hosts the galleries. My accountant, for invoices. The website is hosted by Framer, which records anonymous visit statistics.

How long I keep it

Inquiries that don’t turn into bookings are deleted after 12 months. Contracts and invoices are kept for seven years. Wedding photographs are kept on two drives for ten years so I can replace a lost gallery.

Your photographs online

I only post photos from your wedding on this site or on Instagram with your permission, which the contract asks about. You can change your mind at any time and I’ll take them down.
